Tall ship Mercedes
The tall ship Mercedes arrived on the cruise berth at 16.00 today to mark the start of the Clipper round the world yacht race.
Invited guests were able to take a short sail in the river before berthing at the new terminal.
Captain Oliver Wipperfuerth stated that the new cruise berth would be fantastic for future visits from other tall ships due to the ease of access and egress within the river.
