Chester and Port Sunlight Experience
Port Sunlight village has more than 900 Grade 2 listed buildings and as well as the Lady Lever Art Gallery, famous for its collections of 18th and 19th-century paintings, furniture and outstanding Wedgwood Chester is completely encircled by city walls and has a 2000-year-old Roman Amphitheatre.
The 13th-century 'Rows' are two tiers of enticing shops, running through the main streets.
There's also a fine Norman cathedral, the Roman remains at the Grosvenor Museum, the oldest racecourse in Britain and street after street of charming black and white Tudor architecture.
Chester is magnificent in scale and breathtaking in beauty.
