Standing 452ft above sea level the views over the city from the beacon are spectacular.
The tower was once a revolving restaurant but in recent years has been converted into the Radio City station.
For the energetic visitor there is the chance to walk 540 stairs to the top of the tower, however the lift is the quicker more relaxing option, climbing the 452ft in 30 seconds it carries the public to the 86ft crow's nest.
The tour takes approximately 45 minutes and costs £4. There is a maximum of 208 people at any one time due to space, elevators access.
Duration: four hours
