Cultural Capsules - Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse

The Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse is one theatrical company.

With two very different theatrical spaces, producing theatre of the highest calibre for Liverpool and the North West. Children's Theatre has recently become part of our core programme and we are committed to bringing some of the best touring children's work to Liverpool.

Education is at the heart of what we do. Our Theatre and Community department offers an extensive programme of creative and imaginative activities and projects for schools and communities and can tailor make activities and projects to support different elements of the curriculum. 

Cultural Capsule - Our Orrery box will help children explore issues relating to identity with 2 puppets who have no names.

The children help the puppets to discover their names and identities. Through an imaginative story, practical exercises, discussion and an identity tree, the children consider what makes them who they are. They explore how names, physical appearance, where they come from, relationships and dreams make them unique.
